Rise & Shine

Wake up and start your day with this invigorating 30 minute class that will give you a mixed bag of yoga, including sun salutations, balancing, strengthening, standing, and stretching poses. Early morning yoga is a great way to center yourself, listen to your body and set an intention. Since we tend to be more stiff in the morning, this is a great way to get the blood flowing, loosen up, and start the day with a clear mind.

Yoga for Beginners

New to yoga? This Yoga for beginners class is the perfect place to start. Learn proper alignment and basic yoga poses in the comfort of your home with this 60 minute practice. We will focus on the most common yoga poses, properly sequenced, with attention to form and alignment, to get you feeling comfortable and confident moving forward with your practice!

A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. Perfect for beginners or for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga. Relaxation/Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, and most poses are held for an extended period of time, allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will compliment your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more stretching.

Yoga for Core

Yoga is an excellent way to build core strength! In this class, we will focus on postures that will strengthen and stretch the abdominal muscles. Your body will enjoy a variety of core work, back bends and twists. All levels are welcome.

This fun, engaging class teaches the fundamentals of Vinyasa Yoga including sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses, backbends, and core isolation. Special emphasis is placed on moving in and out of postures safely, correctly, and connecting these poses to the breath. Appropriate for any level with suggested modifications.

VinYin is the perfect balance between yin and yang. We start with a gentle moving vinyasa flow and end with the deep stretching of yin yoga, leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. This class is perfect for beginners and also a wonderful addition to more vigorous yoga practices.

Meditation & Breathwork

Take a mental break in your busy day. This 20-30 minute class uses breathing and meditation techniques to help relieve some of the stress and anxiety that comes with your daily to-do list, and help you feel more centered. Clear the clutter in your mind and find a sense of calm tranquility to get you through the rest of your day.

Gentle Flow

A flow class intended for the joy of movement and stillness of mind, not for the calories burned.  This class is perfect for beginners, seniors, and seasoned yogi’s alike. Gentle yoga focuses on stretching and breathing, (not to be confused with yin/relaxation) not feats of strength or extreme flexibility. Expect slow moving flows, standing postures, forward bends, and low-impact backbends, in addition to seated stretches.

Kick your Asana

This is the go-to class when you’re short on time and need a quick fix! You can fit this 15 minute class into your day, no excuses! Break out the mat, and break a sweat!

Lunchtime Flow

Take a break from your day with this 30 minute yoga flow. Designed to boost your energy, clear your head, and get you through the afternoon slump!

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is the practice and art of Yogic Sleep. This class consists of breathing exercises and guided meditation that will allow your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. The brain will switch from beta to alpha waves, signaling the transition from activity to meditation. Receive deep rest and restoration in this extremely healing practice while releasing muscular, emotional and mental tension.

Chair Yoga

This 20-30 minute class is designed for anyone with mobility restrictions, more specifically seniors or those restricted to a wheelchair. Please only do what you can comfortably. Discomfort is ok, but never do anything that causes PAIN. Benefits of wheelchair yoga include improved strength and flexibility, increased lung capacity, better, more restful sleep, decreased feelings of stress, anxiety and tension, improved clarity and focus, and an overall better sense of well being. Please always respect your body and never try to push past your personal limitation. Consult a physician before starting any new fitness regimen.

A class that is truly for the seasoned and new practitioner alike. Class includes a combination of slow, gentle movements, long holds and a focus on the breath.
In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation may also be integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement.

Goddess Yoga

Awaken your inner Shakti! This flow has been designed to evoke your goddess power. Together, we will explore yoga postures which awaken the feminine Shakti energy. This is a great opportunity to tap into your own creativity and allow your body to flow with the music. Expect a combination of sensual & tribal energy allowing you to connect with the wild goddess within.

*This class is only offered in the LIVE online studio, and at the local Yogshala. These classes will not be available in the video library.

Being completely new to yoga, I was a bit nervous at first. I suffer with severe chronic back pain, and my doctor recommended that try yoga. Now I start my day with 15-30 minutes of yoga before going to work and it has really been helping my pain. I wouldn’t feel comfortable going to a yoga studio so this is perfect for me. I can practice from the privacy of my own home but also ask questions from the instructors in order to make sure I’m doing the poses correctly. Highly recommend! Mary
